Using real-time information, the game is able to register the participant’s location and suggest nearby dares of varying difficulty to partake in, either individually or with other nearby players. For example, dares could include trying a world-famous dish in a popular China Town restaurant, taking part in a culturally rich festival, such as Diwali or Pride, or simply engaging with people from other cultures. Game players are then able to log their results both on their profile – which proudly boasts other challenges and cultures explored, and on a leaderboard – where players can track their progress against others and watch trending dares from the competition.
Below is a short video showing how the prototype would work.
