KEEP IT GREEN

Static website design for an artificial grass business

Whilst on furlough, I was asked by Keep It Green, artificial lawn specialists, to design and develop a static website for their business, which was previously only promoted and interacted with via social media. However, due to the COVID Pandemic, the project is currently on pause until restrictions are lifted and the company is able to hire a photographer for their professional site images.

For this project, I developed the site using HTML 5*, CSS and JS, incorporating Bootstrap for a responsive, mobile-friendly result; a site driven by your phone was key when designing this website given the target market.

To achieve this, I chose to utilise a single-scroll homepage, gallery/carousel images and modals; whilst the ‘Grass Varieties’ are links to additional pages due to the quantity of options, all other information can be accessed on the homepage using the navigation bar, anchor-links and back-to-top button. With the USP of this business being their free quote offering, buttons and hyperlinks are used throughout to create a clear CTA for the consumer.
